The origins of the Deceuninck Group go back to 1937. Benari Deceuninck founded the company in Roeselare (Belgium) to manufacture all kinds of buttons, buckles, combs and other utensils made from plastic sheets.
In the 60s, the Group chose to explore a new direction in plastic production, by extruding PVC granulate for the manufacture of profiles for the construction industry.
In the 70s, products were successfully introduced in France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Subsidiaries in the United Kingdom and in Spain followed in the 80s.
Since 1985, Deceuninck has been listed on the Brussels Stock Exchange.
In the 90s, Deceuninck set up sales offices and local warehouses in Poland and the Czech Republic. After two acquisitions, Deceuninck secured a leading position in the US market for PVC window systems.
In 2003, the company became a world leader in PVC systems by purchasing Thyssen Polymer in Germany.
In 2012, Deceuninck launched the Zendow#neo window series, replacing steel reinforcements with the revolutionary Linktrusion technology.
In 2017, Deceuninck launched Decalu to expand its range with aluminium window, door, sun protection and façade solutions.
In 2018, a brand-new recycling facility became fully operational at Deceuninck’s recycling and compounding site in Diksmuide, Belgium.
In 2018, Deceuninck also introduced a unique glass-fibre technology – ThermoFibra – into the Elegant series.
In 2021, the innovative modular platform iCOR won the German Innovation Award and the German Design Award.
In 2022, Deceuninck became the partner of the UCI Pro Team Alpecin-Deceuninck.
